The beginning of the end...

Slowly we are wrapping up our life here in Memphis. It's been home to us for the last five years. We've had some great times, made some wonderful memories, and started some amazing friendships. We've all grown and changed in that time. When we moved here Brenna was five and eager to start school. Darian was nine and a bundle of energy... i guess some things don't change.

Last week was hard for us. We're beginning to say good-bye to some very important people. I'm having to say good-bye. And honestly, i don't like it one bit. It hurts.

Yesterday was my last day at school. I said good-bye to teachers, staff, parents, and students who have become like family to me, who have loved me and my family through the past years as I have loved them. I want to scream and shout, but what i did was cry, several times as i am now.

God has blessed my life with the family at Harding Southwind. It's hard to walk away.
